In the early 1970s, Sugat Book Depot began with a simple yet profound mission: to spread the teachings of Buddhism and the transformative thoughts of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. What started as a modest retail shop dedicated to Buddhist literature has blossomed into a beacon of knowledge and social enlightenment.

Our evolution from retailers to publishers under the banner of Sugat Publications marked a significant milestone. We recognized that to truly spread these life-changing philosophies, we needed to create accessible literature that could reach every corner of society—from bustling urban centers to remote rural villages.
